Eric F. Becker, Esq. is a respected elder and estate law practitioner based in Irvine, California, at the Law Offices of Eric Becker. With nearly four decades of experience, he combines rigorous legal skill with practical judgment to protect clients’ assets, autonomy, and dignity. He has the unusual ability to help families navigate the aging process, dealing with incapacity, and planning for succession. Eric earned his law degree from Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. in 1989, while working for a Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives. He started working as an attorney in the area of medical malpractice defense, including skilled nursing facility defense, forming his own firm in 1996. This gave him great insight into medical treatment, and elder issues in particular. In 1997 Eric transitioned to his current areas of practice, where he applies litigation experience and strategic thinking to long-term care planning, conservatorships, probate and trust litigation.
Eric is licensed to practice law in California, Washington, D.C., and in Maryland. His professional recognition includes selection to Lawyers of Distinction (2024–2026). He has lectured for the Orange County Bar Association, for the California Professional Fiduciary Association at the state conference and at the local level. He has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Eric graduated from the Leadership Tomorrow class of 1999. He has served on the panel for appointment as Guardian ad Litem for the last twenty years, currently having a dozen files in which he serves in this capacity in the Orange County Superior Court, finding the most fulfillment when appointment in guardianship matters.

Justin Barnes

Justin D. Barnes earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2024 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in November of that year. Shortly thereafter, he joined the firm in January 2025, where he has dedicated his practice to assisting individuals and families with a wide range of trust and estate matters.

Justin’s practice focuses primarily on trusts and estates, including trust administration, probate proceedings, conservatorships, and trust litigation. He is committed to helping clients navigate often complex and emotionally challenging legal situations with practical guidance, attention to detail, and a client-centered approach.

In addition to his trusts and estates practice, Justin has experience handling personal injury matters and transactional work, giving him a broader understanding of the legal issues that individuals and businesses commonly face. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience working with a court-appointed receivership responsible for managing noncompliant properties and distressed businesses. In that role, he assisted with legal and operational matters involving regulatory compliance, asset preservation, and business administration, further strengthening his problem-solving skills and practical legal knowledge.

Outside of the office, Justin enjoys taking advantage of California’s abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. He can often be found in the mountains snowboarding during the winter months, fly-fishing, or spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Kevin Pham

Attorney Kevin D. Pham focuses his practice on all aspects of trusts and estates, including estate planning, trust administration, and related matters. He is committed to providing thoughtful, practical counsel tailored to each client's unique circumstances, helping individuals and families preserve their legacies and navigate complex legal issues with confidence.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin practiced exclusively in family law for two years, where he represented clients in a broad range of domestic relations matters. This experience provided him with valuable insight into the personal and financial considerations that often intersect with estate planning and has enhanced his ability to advise clients with sensitivity and a comprehensive perspective.

Kevin earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2023 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2024. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. His academic background provides a strong foundation for understanding the interpersonal dynamics that frequently arise in estate planning and trust administration.

Reese Perez

Reese graduated as Valedictorian from Western State College of Law, where he distinguished himself through exceptional academic achievement. During law school, he earned six Cali Excellence for the Future Awards and was published in the Western State Law Review. His academic success reflects a commitment to mastering complex legal issues and delivering meticulous, well reasoned legal analysis.
Prior to joining the firm, Reese worked in consumer warranty litigation, where he further developed his analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic approach to resolving disputes. He is committed to applying these skills to his trust and estates practice to provide responsive, thorough, and results-oriented representation tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
